We have the national and local Renewable Energy Tour Oct 2. Saturday. We will have the tour from 10:00 am to about 3:00 in the afternoon. Join more than 150,000 people in 3,000 communities across the U.S. Attend open-house tours to see how your neighbors are using renewable energy and solar energy.
This is a fun event that is in your community so get involved and invite your friends to join the largest grassroots solar event in the world.
We will start at St. Patrick’s Parrish School in Chesterton, IN at 10:00 am. We will have maps and suggest tour routes to follow. There are many sites. You will be pressed to see them all. Lake Co., Porter Co, LaPorte Co., Wanatah and Winimac. We will show geothermal energy, photovoltaic panels, solar hot tubs, wind turbines, solar pool heaters, and other renewable energies.
